Life has taken us on a journey we never expected. Our baby girl, Sarai, was born with a serious heart condition and has already gone through multiple major surgeries in her first year of life. Now, we’ve been told her heart is failing again—and her next life-saving operation needs to happen in Toronto.
We don’t have an exact surgery date yet—it could be in two weeks or six—but when the call comes, we need to be ready to travel. The cost of flights, temporary housing, food, and being off work adds up fast. We’re doing everything we can, but we simply can’t cover it all alone.
