Horror-Inspired Black & Grey Tattoo
This piece brings together two creepy doll portraits in a dark, dramatic composition.
I kept the design mostly black and grey, using deeper shadows around the faces, clothing and border to give it the gritty feel the subject needed. The thorny heart shape helps frame the portraits and gives the whole piece a stronger silhouette.
Horror tattoos are always fun because they give me room to push contrast, texture and mood while still keeping the characters recognizable.
